Air-Fried Popcorn Chicken Gizzards

Ingredients:
1 lb chicken gizzards
⅓ cups of all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp. seasoned salt
½ tsp. ground black pepper
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. paprika
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 large egg, beaten
cooking spray
Directions:
- Bring water in a big pot to a boil. Gizzards should be chopped into bite-sized pieces and added to boiling water. for 30 minutes, boil. Drain.
- In a flat plastic container, combine flour, seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne. Put the lid on securely and shake to combine.
- Gizzards should be added to the spiced flour. Put the lid back on and shake to distribute the coating.
- In a different bowl, place the beaten egg. Each gizzard piece should be dipped in the beaten egg before being re-dipped in the seasoned flour. Place the lid in place and shake once more. While the air fryer heats up, allow to sit for 5 minutes.
- Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
- Spray cooking spray on the tops of the gizzards before placing them in the basket. For 4 minutes, cook.
- Shake the basket and reapply cooking spray to any splotches of chalk. Cook for a further 4 minutes
